A Little Kite
"I never can do it," the little kite said,
As he looked at the others high over his head;
"I know I should fall if I tried to fly."
"Try,"said the big kite,"Only try!
Or I fear you never will learn at all."
But the little kite said,"I'm afraid I'll fall."
The big kite nodded:"Ah， well,good-bye;
I'm off."And he rose toward the cloudless sky.
Then the little kite's paper stirred at the sight,
And trembling,he shook himself free for flight.
First whirling and frightened,then braver grown,
Up,up he rose through the air alone,
Till the big kite,looking down,could see
The little one rising steadily.
Then how the little kite thrilled with pride,
As he sailed with the big kite side by side!
While far below he could see the ground,
And the boys， like small spots moving round.
They rested high in the quiet air,
And only the joyful birds were there.
"Oh,how happy I am!"the little kite cried,
"And all because I was brave,and tried."
一只小風(fēng)箏
“我從來(lái)都做不到?！毙★L(fēng)箏說(shuō)，
當(dāng)他看到頭頂上高空中的其他風(fēng)箏時(shí)。
“我知道如果我要飛的話(huà)，我會(huì)摔下來(lái)?！?BR> “試試，”大風(fēng)箏說(shuō)，“只是試一下!
否則我恐怕你永遠(yuǎn)都學(xué)不會(huì)?！?BR> 但小風(fēng)箏說(shuō)：“我害怕會(huì)掉下來(lái)?！?BR> 大風(fēng)箏點(diǎn)點(diǎn)頭說(shuō)：“哦，好吧，再見(jiàn)。我要飛了?！比缓笏蛉f(wàn)里無(wú)云的天空。
看到這以后，小風(fēng)箏身上的紙開(kāi)始動(dòng)起來(lái)。
顫顫悠悠他讓自己自由地飛了起來(lái)。
開(kāi)始時(shí)旋轉(zhuǎn)著，很害怕，然后變得更勇敢了。
上升，上升，他獨(dú)自在空中升起。
直到大風(fēng)箏往下看，看到小風(fēng)箏正平穩(wěn)地上升。
當(dāng)小風(fēng)箏和大風(fēng)箏肩并肩一起飛翔時(shí)，他是多么自豪地抖動(dòng)著身體啊!
而在很遠(yuǎn)的下面，他能看到大地，還有男孩子們，他們像一個(gè)個(gè)小點(diǎn)一樣四處移動(dòng)。
他們?cè)诎察o的、高高的空中休息，
那里只有快樂(lè)的小鳥(niǎo)。
