Body Language
If you can speak English, you know a lot of English words. You can read, speak
and understand. But there is another kind of language you need to know — the
language of the body.
All over the world, people "talk?with their hands, with their heads, and with
their eyes. When Japanese people meet, they bow. When Indians meet, they put
their hands together.
When British and American people meet someone for the first time, they shake
hands. They do not usually shake hands with people they know well. Women
sometimes kiss their women friends, and men kiss women friends (on the cheek
only). When a man meets a man friend, he just smiles, and says "Hello? Men do
not kiss each other, or hold hands. Even fathers and sons do not often kiss
each other.
身 體 語(yǔ) 言
即使你會(huì)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)，你知道很多英文單詞，你會(huì)讀，會(huì)說(shuō)，能聽(tīng)懂，但還有另外一種語(yǔ)言你需要了解——那就是身體語(yǔ)言。
在全世界，人們都用他們的手、頭和眼睛“說(shuō)話”。當(dāng)日本人見(jiàn)面時(shí)，他們相互鞠躬。印度人見(jiàn)面時(shí)他們雙手合十。
當(dāng)英國(guó)人和美國(guó)人第一次和別人見(jiàn)面時(shí)，他們互相握手。通常，他們不和熟悉的人握手。女人有時(shí)親吻她們的女性朋友，男人也會(huì)親吻女性朋友(只親臉頰)。當(dāng)男人見(jiàn)到男性朋友時(shí)，他只微笑著說(shuō)聲“你好”。男人之間不會(huì)互相親吻或牽手。即使是父子之間也不會(huì)經(jīng)常親吻對(duì)方。
